Andrea, the talent behind the lens of Whimsical Roots is fabulous! Her work is creative, timeless and perfectly captures the moment. Her edits are tasteful, not overdone and she pays perfect attention to detail (remembered to ask me to remove my hair tie from wrist etc). She is attentive to any emails/correspondence (same day always), provided our gallery in record time (under a week) and is competitively priced. I have had the pleasure of working with her twice now and am looking forward to many more sessions!

We love Andrea! She's professional, organized, and always on schedule. I chose her because she has an excellent eye for lighting in pictures on her online gallery. We have had three photo sessions with her: an engagement session, day-of wedding photos, and a session with just my husband and I in our wedding outfits. All were great and produced a ton of excellent pictures. She listened to what we wanted. She also was able to make excellent locale suggestions for the engagement and bonus photo session. We are both camera shy and Andrea did a great job making us feel comfortable. On the day-of session, everyone loved her and she was great with the kids! 10/10, would recommend.

Andrea is THE BEST! We recently did a family photoshoot and professional pictures for my work. This was my first time meeting her and I instantly felt very comfortable around her. Even my antisocial husband and high anxiety child felt very comfortable around her. I was so pleased she was able to get natural pictures of them where they didn’t look forced to pose and fake smile. :) She knows how to capture genuine moments and the locations she picked were just gorgeous! The pictures turned out so much better than I could have ever imagined. I would recommend Andrea and Whimsical Roots Photography to everyone!

Andrea has been my photographer on 2 occasions to capture a motherhood session with my twins and a larger family session with my parents and sisters. Both sessions have come out BEAUTIFULLY. She is very energetic, involved, and skilled with making sure the lighting, vibe, and connections are well documented within the photos. These will be pictures enlarged on the walls within my home!
