Danielle + Kurtis | Glacier Hills County Park | Wisconsin Engagement Photographer

Glacier Hills County Park in Hubertus, WI is always a gorgeous backdrop for photographs... it has everything! Beautiful tall pine trees, lake views, prairie grasses and a big open space with a view towards the west for gorgeous golden hour light and sunset scapes!

Danielle & Kurtis opted to have their engagement session at this park in order to get a feel for what their wedding day will be like! They are hosting their celebration at the park next October, when the fall foliage will be at its peak!

Of course, every engagement session is full of fun. There are always laughs and snuggles and sweet flirtations....all of that is just part of the equation when you book a photoshoot with Whimsical Roots Photography! The beauty of an engagement session is highlighted by bringing your own personal flair... each couple is unique and I love to celebrate the differences. Inside jokes vary from couple to couple. Styles vary. Interactions vary. These are the reasons I so enjoy photographing couples. No two are the same!!

Take a peek below to get an inside glimpse of what makes Danielle & Kurtis's relationship special... hint: one of the factors MAY be a gorgeous pup named Gemma!

Pro Tip: Bring a few outfits to your engagement session... it switches up the feeling and dynamic of the photos and it is fun to have a variety of styles to reflect on when you receive your final gallery! :)
