What does connection mean to you?
I see it as creating an energy bubble around myself and whomever I'm interacting with. It is focused attention on the person or people in front of me. It is holding space for another.
Cultivating connection in the present moment is one of the most important missions I have within my photography journey.
In order to feel happy and fulfilled, we must feel connected to our loved ones and to our community.
Using prompts, games and gentle posing during my photography sessions generates genuine interactions for my clients. Shared laughter, snuggles and playful banter encourages REAL connection and the result is beautiful imagery that is unique to each family or couple I work with.
I believe we need to step away from technology more often and focus on the present moment with the people most important to us. A photography session is one simple way to do this.
