It is temping to say that I love engagement sessions even more than a wedding day. There is something about the lovestruck, starry eyed newly engaged season that elicits so much joy & excitement!
The decision to spend forever together. The beginning stages of wedding planning. Often times an engagement session is the first time that either individual has been in front of a camera and it is a perfect opportunity to ease nerves and provide a fun-filled, laid back photoshoot experience. I get it. It's not necessarily comfortable to have a relatively random person with a camera in your face encouraging kisses and snuggles...but it is easiest to venture into this unknown territory during an engagement session!
This chic couple opted to have their engagement session at Naga-Waukee Park in Delafield. A nice blend of natural beauty and man-made architecture. The greenery is always a hit as a backdrop and the lake never fails to bring some splashes of fun to the forefront. I've been encouraging all of my clients to select an elevated outfit for at least one of their ensembles...it's the perfect occasion to dress up and show off some of your flair for fashion!
