Arie & Miles compliment each other beautifully. Both career oriented, athletic, driven and playful, they balance each other out.
I first met Arie and Miles when we got together for their engagement session the autumn prior to their wedding. We ventured to downtown Cedarburg to get to know each other. The couple enjoyed candy apples from the famous Amy's Gourmet Caramel Apples as we wandered from one historic building to the next. You simply can't go to Cedarburg and leave without getting yourself a delicious candy apple...anyone else with me?
We hit it off at their engagement session and they loved the gallery that I delivered, so, happily, they snagged me for their wedding day!
This fun-loving couple planned their wedding celebration at the Florian Event Venue in Germantown, Wisconsin. The Florian is an elegant Wisconsin wedding venue offering many choices for couples. Arie and Miles held their wedding celebration on a hot August afternoon... a day full of weather surprises.. bright sunshine, muggy humidity and a quick rainfall graced their wedding day. "They" say that rain on a wedding day is good luck and I tend to agree.... especially if it doesn't interfere with an outdoor ceremony, which was the case for Arie and Miles! Their "I do" exchange was held in front of the Florian's classic white gazebo. A beautiful setting, nestled among the willows.
Arie and Miles incorporated longterm friends and family into their wedding party and the enthusiasm they brought was contagious. We were all hootin' and hollerin' throughout the day... laughter, bantering and sass were abundant.
The entire crew was stunning in their attire but the gals took the cake for me. I loved their unique array of bridesmaid dresses in various hues of pinks and metallic rose gold. Sigh, it was lovely! Especially since Arie, the beautiful bride, is the perfect mix of glitz, glamour and sporty! Arie chose to have a First Look with both her father and Miles....tears were shed during both occasions.
The bridal suite at the Florian was a wonderful backdrop for documenting the anticipation of the wedding ceremony. Arie and Miles read personal vows (my favorite) and had several important family members do readings to commemorate their union.
The reception was tons of fun..lots of energy, including funny speeches and a full dance floor!
