Colorful Garden Wedding at The Gardens Wedding Center | Milwaukee Wedding Photographer

The Gardens Wedding Center is an absolute gem of a wedding venue, located in the heart of Washington County, Wisconsin. This historic property, originally established in 1844, boasts a multi-building complex that offers an array of backdrops to serve you on your wedding day. As a wedding photographer in the greater Milwaukee area, The Gardens Wedding Center is one of my absolute favorite venues. Beautifully manicured gardens bursting with vibrant perennials, flowering bushes and lush trees create a fairytale, secret garden-esque vibe for a perfect wedding day. Add to that the cream city brick on the schoolhouse and gothic architecture of the chapel and you have a whimsical marriage between natural beauty and man-made construction design.

Alissa and Jesse chose the Gardens Wedding Center to host their intimate wedding celebration. They were seeking a space that would showcase their carefully selected bright, vibrant aesthetic as well as the joy & happiness of their union. Their day was filled with many unique components, which as a photographer makes me swoon.

-I absolutely LOVED the wedding florals designed by the ever-inspiring Rachel of Reflections of You - Custom Floral Design.

-Alissa's dress was a refreshing choice and featured a beautiful backless design.

-Alissa & Jesse wrote and read personal vows to each other during their sunshine filled ceremony and there was not a dry eye in the garden.

-Their wedding ceremony was sealed with a kiss and as the wedding recessional was kicked off by talented bagpiper Rob McWilliam

-The happy couple's wedding cake was topped with a dragon, a nod to the groom's interest in the well-known tabletop role playing game Dungeons & Dragons.

-Alissa and Jesse's first dance featured an incredible air guitar sequence that kept their wedding guests entertained!

From start to finish, it was a joy to be a part of Alissa and Jesse's wedding celebration!
