They say that home is where the heart is and I would definitely agree. It's where memories are made, snuggles are enjoyed and where the transformation of tiny toes turn into big personalities. I love it when I have the opportunities to meet people where they are. Being invited into someone's home to document their real interactions (albeit in fancier clothes than one would usually wear) is such a treat. I love being a fly on the wall as family pig piles unfold, games are played and the inevitable meltdown carries everyone away for a few minutes.
I love a sunset family photoshoot in the great outdoors but there is something sweet and intimate about taking photos where all of the family magic really happens.
There is some gentle posing but for the most part I encourage interactions that are natural. The result is a gallery full of images that really tell your story.
