As a Wisconsin wedding photographer, I have the opportunity to venture to many wonderful wedding venues throughout the state. Milwaukee suburb, Shorewood, is home to a gem of a venue! There is something special about The Atrium. In my personal life, I am an avid gardener, and as such I have a major affinity for glasshouses. The ornate architecture coupled with opulent panes of glass speak directly to my soul. Mix in beautiful florals and lots of greenery and I'm completely sold. The rooftop garden just adjacent to the beautifully appointed greenhouse makes for an incredible environment for a wedding.
The main floor of The Atrium boasts an industrial feel with exposed duct work & brick. Multiple chandeliers, a skylight and uplighting creates a really chic ambiance.
Couples are able to host their wedding day at The Atrium without ever having to leave. Spaces for ceremonies indoor or outdoor allow for options and there are many photography backdrops for family portraits and wedding party formals. The Atrium is a mainstay in the Milwaukee area and I hope to return again soon!

Meet Ben & Lauren:
The happy couple flew out to San Francisco and did a road trip up to Portland. On the way they stopped in Napa. One morning, following a wine tasting, they took a detour to a park for a hike. Midway through the hike they sat at a bench and Ben proposed overlooking the sprawling hills and vines.
